Job Description

  • Working as part of a team of web application developers
  • Using a variety of web technologies, including JavaScript, PHP and SQL
  • Building and maintaining sites using our bespoke e-commerce platform
  • Extending our platform we new features and supplier integrations
  • Input to project plans and technical/design documents
  • Taking a degree of responsibility for architecture and design

Skills Range Essential:

  • Able to communicate effectively with the team and clients
  • Able to work in the UK
  • Proven commercial development experience
  • Confident working in PHP
  • PostgreSQL (or similar, e.g. MySQL, SQL Server)
  • HTML & CSS
  • JavaScript

Desirable:

  • A relevant degree
  • Drupal
  • jQuery
  • SOAP/XML services
  • Subversion or other source control such as git
  • Apache
  • Linux, ideally Gentoo
  • Object oriented programming
