The website FastJet.com has already been created, which is currently a waiting page with the text ‘Fastjet.com by Stelios. Coming soon!’. EasyJet have released a statement in reaction to the news stating that ‘EasyJet will take necessary action to protect the rights of EasyJet and the interests of its shareholders’. How Facebook’s changes will effect your fan page- 24th September- As we’re sure you’ve noticed Facebook has rolled out it’s new features across profiles now, something which travel companies with Facebook pages now need to be aware of. Users can now choose to filter their news feed so that they can receive all, some or none of your updates as well as add you into lists. One thing that is expected to have a massive impact is the introduction of Open Graph and Facebook gestures apps which was announced last week at the F8 conference. The apps will enable users to share what they are doing exactly to their networks such as ‘I just booked this hotel’, ‘I am traveling here’ etc. The idea is to develop sharing content on Facebook further than just a like button.
