EasyJet announce site for Blackberry- 30th September- In an attempt to increase it’s business service EasyJet has announced a beta mobile site which enables Blackberry users to search and book flights across all it’s European destinations. The low cost carrier has asked users to give any feedback on the site to help improve it’s service before it’s main launch. It would appear that it’s still business as usual for EasyJet after last week’s shock announcement from Stelios of his plans to launch a new carrier ‘FastJet’, things still up in the air it is now rumoured that the new flight company will offer transatlantic flights as opposed to be in direct competition with Easy Jet.

Cruise.co.uk abandon Goggle advertising and still receive 10m hits a year-30th September- Online cruise leader cruise.co.uk revealed last week that despite previously spending £2 million a year on paid search are now spending ‘nothing at all’ and still reaching high levels of traffic. Cruise.co.uk attribute this success to their ability to capture the cruise community via their social channels and forums. Claiming to be the ‘TripAdvisor of cruise’ cruise.co.uk believe that they are now talking to their customers more than ever due to these social platforms. Cruise.co.uk uses forums and question and answer platforms onsite which evidently have proved very useful for their business, CWT Digital actually built the questions and answers platform for cruise.co.uk, if this is something you would like to get added to your site then please do contact us.
