The change is designed to target and weed out sites that contain low quality content, and it is thought that this will affect the travel industry in particular.

 

Importance of the 'Facebook Factor'.24th February - Flight comparison website Skyscanner found that in a recent poll of Facebook users, 52% stated that their friends' holiday pictures inspired them to book a holiday to the same destination.

 

Crisis response page set up by Google in wake of New Zealand earthquake. 22nd February - Google's crisis response page provides maps, news updates and Twitter feeds to help those looking for information on the Christchurch earthquake.
