This week's cruise news. 20th – 22nd April – There's been plenty of developments in the world of cruise this week, including Silversea renaming its expedition cruise ship, Fred Olsen launching its 2013 programme and research reveals the numbers of passengers going online during their cruise holidays.
Spain is Britons' favourite Easter holiday destination. 20th April – Travel Weekly reveals Spain is as popular as ever, with over two million Brits expected to holiday in Spain over the Easter break.
ABTA tips Egypt and Dubai as top Easter holiday destinations. 22nd April – Breaking Travel News reports on ABTA's tips for cheap flights and accommodation, as well as its views on the impact of the Royal Wedding on holiday bookings.
Virgin Atlantic plans onboard street parties for the Royal Wedding. 25th April – Virgin Atlantic will be celebrating the Royal Wedding in style, with afternoon tea for passengers, cabins decorated with bunting and staff wearing fancy dress on flights to the US and the Caribbean on the big day.
Interactive map allows travellers to check for global hotspots before departure. 19th April – TNooz reports on The Guardian's interactive map which includes the latest travel advice data from the governments of every country around the world.
Research reveals a drop in searches for all-inclusive holidays. 18th April – Experian Hitwise have revealed a 31% year-on-year decrease in the volume of searches for all-inclusive holidays, and Travolution discuss this in relation to First Choice becoming an all-inclusive only brand.
