P&O believe that despite the difference in size the experience will still be the same as their other cruise lines. The ship which is to be the UK’s largest cruise ship is expected to be completed in 2015.

Brits are taking 2nd jobs to pay for their holidays- 10th June- Travel Weekly reports that there has been a 90% increase in 2nd job workers and recent reports indicate that this is to fund holidays. Of that 22%, 29% had booked or researched accommodation, 27% have researched destinations, 26% have read traveller reviews, 23% have researched restaurants and 18% have booked or researched a flight. Facebook figures drop in the US and UK-13th June- Techradar released an article claiming that Facebook figures are dropping in both the US and UK, suggesting that people are losing interest in the social giant. The UK lost over 100,000 active users in May and the US 6 millions, which means that users in the UK are using their account less. Data collecting company Inside Facebook blame this decline on bugs and seasonal changes. It still is too early to be claiming the death of Facebook and with 700 million users worldwide it’s not doing too bad.

Bookit.com adds PayPal to it’s site-13th June- Bookit.com decided to add PayPal into it’s booking system to provides it’s customers a faster and easier way of paying for their holiday. The site uses PayPal’s Parallel Payments system which enables users to have up to 10 transactions in one express checkout system provides users with a short and simple solution to paying. The site is the 1st travel site to do this and we predict many will follow in it’s path.
